Stretch & Strength Workshop
This class is geared towards isolating the smaller muscles of the body in specifically designed exercises, while learning how to stretch properly and avoid injury. Along with “tightening the bolts”, as we say, which means strengthening the ligaments that surround our joints. We are also placing enormous focus on stretching and increasing flexibility to achieve higher more explosive jumps and those all to coveted high legs in adagio work. Our program objective is to safely and gradually gain strength and flexibility, not growing one aspect over the other, but equally and at the same growth pace. This takes time, this is not your quick overnight fix or 5min miracle. Stretch & Strength takes Discipline from the Athlete, repetition repetition repetition!
